Woot! A Quick Update

Our immigration agent sent our visa application this week, and when I last checked, it was on its way to its destination. Yay! I'm so happy to have all the paperwork and stress of that off my chest. Now the most we've got to worry about is the approval of the visa application and repaying the loan we had to take out to pay for all of it while staying afloat with other stuff.

We discovered a book store in Sydney by Central when we went to pay off our application fee. It's called "Basement Books" or something to that effect. It's under the street, in a pedestrian tunnel thing that go to the trams I think. I don't know for sure. But the prices there on books were AMAZING. I bought a new book, The Complete Illustrated Encyclopedia of Witchcraft and Practical Magic by Susan Greenwood and Raje Airey. I found it laying amongst books about dream interpretation, and figured that it would be a good read.

When I got a chance to actually flip through it at home though, I found that it was actually a great buy for what I got it for. It's got histories and information about different sorts of magic from many different paths. It's got information on important people who have influenced current religions and practices that include witchcraft, basic information about the Goddess and the God, Correspondences with planets, elements, and the Zodiac, simple little ideas for spells, and so much more.

Also, I would like to add that my paladin, Manderconda, has levelled to 76. If I keep going with her, she will become my 3rd level 80 character. I'm thinking of transferring her to an RP server sometime (I currently play on Frostmane, a PVP server), when we can afford it. I don't know why, but I just have these strange urges to RP sometimes. I've even gone so far as to reserve my names on the server I want to transfer to, so that I'll a. be forced to rename my pally when I do move her over, and b. have the name I want for her available when the time comes for her to transfer realms.

Lastly, I have been suffering from a fairly bad cold for the past few days. It's been pretty rough, started with a fever and a sore throat, then evolved into sniffles, coughs, and eventually the loss of the decent-sounding parts of my voice, leaving me to sound like a frog. Or a boy going through the puberty. Either way, it's just awful.

But I'm on the upswing of recovery, I think. I've been coughing up yucky stuff (eww.) but my voice is slowly starting to recover and I am not as sniffly as I've been in the past. Also, my skin doesn't hurt! :) So that's something to be happy with.

Well, I should head off to bed now. :) Night night, world.
